Soo, we recently got tagged for this:

Rules:

Brodie:

1.) I friggin' love blueberry muffins.
2.) I really want to learn Russian. I think being able to tell someone off in Russian would be awesome.
3.) Writing for this comic is the best thing ever! I love working with Julia, I'm so lucky!
4.) Sweater-vests and suspenders are the hottest thing.

Julia:

1.) I absolutely <3 English. Best language ever.
2.) I've sworn myself to learn playing the bagpipe one day, no matter how odd it might seem of me to want that. I'm just fascinated by that instrument more than by any other. (Stop. Laughing.)
3.) Returning the compliment might be a cliche, but it's simply necessary here. Drawing this comic happens to be one of the coolest things I've ever done, and I love working with Brodie ;D
4.) Music is a major part of my life, and I listen to it all day.

Other stuff I need to say is just a sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I hope the five new pages somehow made it up to you.
Also, coloring turned out to be problematic (lack of time), so prepare for a long long wait. Hopefully the b/w pages are good enough for now, too.

    Dudes... you have no idea how in awe I am of your talent! The pics/comics are AMAZING, so many little details and the fabulous coloring! *adds you to my watch list* (My favorite character design you have is of Adult!Aang. He looks so nice in your style, which is cool because he happens to be my favorite character) :)

    The only thing I really have to complain about is the way the hair is drawn so... floofy and thick. Seriously, it's the only thing that bothers me, but bothers me it does. (I only wish to be honest- I'm not in any way intending to insult you guys.) Katara with bangs especially irks me, but that's just because I'm partial with how she looked in the show.

    Anyway, I can't wait to see the next page! It looks like the story line is really kicking off now. :D

    thank you SO much! :hug: you really like his character design? that's great, since he is by far the one I was most unsure about, drawing him ain't easy, and he happens to be my favorite character too... I didn't want to make him look stupid (and wasn't sure if I managed to), so, VERY glad you like it! ^^;

    no, no, I don't take it as an insult! thanks for telling me! :D you know, you happen to be the first person to complain about my style of drawing hair...that's good, 'cause I've been unhappy about it for quite a while now, but everyone seemed to like it, so I kept with it...you just gave me the incentive to change it! :D (I'll try to make it look better in the next page)

    hmm...I've gotta say, I love bangs, so that's probably why I make everyone have them...didn't want to irk anyone with her design, really...so maybe I'll make up another hairstyle for her somewhen as the story continues...in the show she didn't have the same hairdo all the time either after all, so I guess it'll be okay :)

    and again, thank you for your feedback! We hardly ever get such long comments, so it really is awesome to see people having that many thoughts about this comic! :hug:

    No problem! I like it when someone gives me long feedback that consists of something more then 'OMG, liek, that's so cool!!!1!one' on MY art, so I feel I should return the favor to others. XD

    Yes, I LOVE Aang's design the best, by far. Your style really seems to bring something out in his character whenever you draw him, like you're enhancing the mental picture I already had of what he'd be like as a man. A mature, fully realized Avatar who is still recognizable as the kid in the show. :)

    True about Katara's hair... she's kinda like Princess Leia from Star Wars, you never see less then three different hair styles! *laughs*

    (Question: while we're on the subject of hair, how exactly do you draw the hair the way you do, with individual waves and strands visible? I'm just not sure if you have a computer to help with that, or if you guys do this all traditionally.)

    Again, I'm looking forward to the next page!

    yeah, i know what you mean...there's so many people out there doing that,and somehow you get the feeling they are just bored and don't mean a thing of it :B

    well, thank you again then. I had no idea my style had such...powers :D

    umm, I do the outlines traditionally, either with some sort of super fine ink pen (for the pages of chapter 1), a ball point pen (the first four pages of chapter 2) or a mechanical pencil (started up from chapter 2 page 5...and I think I'll keep with that,as it somehow allows you to make the lines much more smooth than with the other pencils)...later on, there is some rendering with Photoshop, but except for the coloring there isn't much of a change for the hair anymore, so yeah, I guess we could say the hair is done traditionally ;D
